Pete Lowy included in Houston Volunteer Lawyers’ 2023 Year in Review as a Pro Bono Leader
We’re proud of Pete Lowy, shareholder at Chamberlain, for being recognized as a leader in the pro bono field by the Houston Volunteer Lawyers (the pro bono arm of the Houston Bar Association) in its 2023 Year in Review.
Responding to the recognition, Lowy said, “Thanks to all of the amazing tax attorneys and accountants who volunteered their time in 2023 to assist low-income taxpayers. Let’s keep up the good work in 2024!”
This is not the first time Pete’s commitment to representing underprivileged taxpayers has been praised. He previously received pro bono awards from the ABA Tax Section (2003), the New York State Courts (2015), and the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program (2019).
