Overview

Reed Powers is a civil defense litigation associate in Southfield, focusing his practice on insurance defense litigation, tort and automobile liability, product liability and general liability matters. He advises and defends his clients in all aspects of civil, commercial and insurance litigation in state and federal courts.

Reed has successfully handled emergency responses to catastrophic and fatal injuries and defends clients against insurance and contractual disputes. 

While attending the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Reed worked as a Judicial Extern at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and was a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates.
